QbCheck is a computerized ADHD assessment support tool. It is designed to collect objective information in areas commonly associated with ADHD: attention, impulsivity, and activity level or hyperactivity.
The results may help your provider better understand symptom patterns and can be compared cautiously with age-appropriate reference data. They are interpreted alongside your individual history and clinical information.

Who Is Required to Complete QbCheck?
QbCheck is required for patients who are seeking a new ADHD diagnosis through Brain Health Psychiatry.
Patients who have already been diagnosed with ADHD must provide documentation or proof of the previous diagnosis before the appointment. After reviewing the documentation, the provider will determine whether additional testing or assessment is necessary.
Completing QbCheck does not guarantee an ADHD diagnosis. Your provider will consider the results together with your clinical history, symptom review, provider interview, medical or psychiatric assessment, and any other information requested.
Age Considerations
Brain Health Psychiatry generally prefers to evaluate patients age 8 and older for ADHD. Younger patients may be considered individually based on their needs and the provider’s clinical judgment.
Brain Health Psychiatry In-Person Evaluation Policy
The initial ADHD evaluation must be completed in person. Brain Health Psychiatry also requires at least one in-person appointment every 12 months for patients receiving ongoing ADHD-related care.
After the initial in-person evaluation, follow-up appointments may be completed through telehealth when clinically appropriate and permitted under current practice requirements.

These concerns do not automatically mean someone has ADHD. A provider must evaluate the full clinical picture.

QbCheck is not covered by health insurance and has a fee of $250.
Payment is the patient’s responsibility. The QbCheck fee is separate from any appointment costs or other services.

How is a QbTest performed?
During the 20 -30 minute test, you will be asked to respond to specific visual stimuli on a computer screen by pressing a responder button. Simultaneously, a camera tracks your movements to assess activity levels. This dual approach provides a comprehensive profile of your attentional performance and motor activity.
